DNC Counter-Convention Update

Plans for the DNC Counter-Convention are heating up, and you should
be getting more frequent updates.

FOOD
Food Not Bombs will be serving free meals to the community at the
DowntownFestival of Democracy in Civic Center Park. Please bring
a reusable fork, plate and cup. Below is a list of food you can
donate. All food donations can be brought to R68 working meetings
on Mondays or Thursdays.

ANTI-WAR MARCH
March on Sunday, Aug. 24 from the State Capitol to the Pepsi Center
This will be one of the biggest marches of the DNC, so make sure
you don't miss it. Unfortunately, some local and national peace
groups (United for Peace and Justice, Rocky Mountain Peace Center,
Alliance for Real Democracy, and others) are encouraging their members
not to participate in any mass marches during the DNC, presumably
to appease the Democrats. The World Can't Wait has organized a petition
asking for SOLIDARITY among all progressive groups to participate
in this march so that we may show our strength in numbers. Please,
take a couple of minutes to sign the petition:

TICKETS TO DNC ACCEPTANCE SPEECH
