Near Union Station
MSNBC will telecast 20 hours a day of live coverage from the Democratic
National Convention in Denver, Colo., Aug. 25-29. All the big anchors
are here in Denver. They have erected a small city near Union Station,
with a two-story broadcast tower. The cameras are in the back of
the stage pointing out towards Union Station. There is plenty of
sidewalk space for spectators to watch and get on camera. It would
be very easy to broadcast your message on MSNBC all day long if
you were willing to hold a sign there, the bigger the letters, the
better to be read at a distance. You will be on national TV guaranteed.
As of this morning, there were no protesters or signs or banners
out there, and barely any spectators. This is your best chance to
get your message out to the nation, unfiltered. Please, be peaceful.
We are on our way to making this the most peaceful protest in history.
At yesterday's big anti-war marches, there were ZERO arrests by
protesters. The police and demonstrators are both to be commended
for their restraint. These events are emotional and stressful for
everyone, but keeping the peace is always best!
To get to the MSNBC Broadcast Tower, take the free 16th Street
Mall Shuttle to the end of the line at Union Station. You can't
miss it.
Below is MSNBC's broadcast schedule. They will also be broadcasting
live from the Pepsi Center, so it is unclear which anchor will be
in which location at any given time.
